  • I love this app

I am downsizing and needed a way to preserve all of my favorite recipes. This app lets me maintain my online recipes and my old handwritten recipes by taking a picture all in one place that syncs up among all of my devices.

I love this app. The only problem I have is that it doesn’t give you enough space for a long recipe.
  • Does not download from alll website

For the cost, it should be disclosed that it does NOT download from Many Many website! You need to bookmark or copy and paste, then manually add ingredients if you want it to use the shopping menu. Not worth the money.

Easy to add recipes, easy to organize. Customer service is fast and thorough. Love that it syncs across my phone and iPad.
  • Big Fan!

    By A mom!
I have been a fan for several years. So easy to use; snap a photo of a recipe; or type it in yourself; or download a recipe from certain sites. MY FAVORITE is that I can easily share my recipes with other OrganizEat users; my daughters, sisters & friends! An extremely practical and well done app. Thx! PS - I’ve been able to take photos of my mother’s and Grandmother’s recipes and share them with my family. They get to enjoy not only the recipes but in mom’s and Grandmother’s own a handwriting. Priceless!
  • Best Recipe Organizer I’ve Had

    By Beesknees 🐝🐝
Full disclosure- this is the first recipe app I’ve had and I’ve been using it for about two months. In the past, recipes have been crammed into a box, put in notebooks, found online then forgot to bookmark site. You name it. With OrganizEat, that has changed. The biggest task for me is taking the time to get all my favorites in notebooks photographed and into the app but that’s ok. These are recipes of my grandmothers, aunts, my mom, friends and mine so they are invaluable to me. Sometimes I go on a small marathon and put in a bunch, other times I put them in as I use them. Online recipes compatible with the app are a piece of cake (or meatloaf or bread get the picture) to upload. I wish there were more online sites that were compatible but there are already a lot and I’m betting that changes over time. In the meantime, I either bookmark them thru the app or print and snap a pic of the recipe to upload. Organizing is a snap. For me, I wanted fewer categories so I hid the ones I didn’t want and created a couple extras. Then, the first word I use for the name of the recipe is the type of food (for example, under the category of Desserts, there are recipes for “Cookies:”, then the name of the recipe such as “Chocolate Chip Cookies”, or “Pie: Pecan Pie”). By grouping them, they can all be in the same category but they will be grouped so you see all Cookie recipes together, all Pie recipes together, all Cake, all Muffins, etc. I love that. I don’t have to remember which category some of the more oddball recipes are in and I can see ALL kinds of choices under each category if I’m undecided about exactly what type of recipe I want to use. Being able to put in my own notes is wonderful as well. I like to make notes on variations on the recipe we liked, substitute ingredients that work, etc. This app works great for me!

This is a great app with a clean user friendly interface. The developers are very responsive. We emailed a couple of suggestions and received a response within a day every time (even Christmas Day).

Easy to use . I wish I could make more categories but otherwise!
  • Most Convenient Recipe App

I have the paid version with unlimited recipes. Just snap a photo, title it, and put it in a category. Simple. Organized. Done. Love it.

So far it does all it says it can. I intend to make this app my recipe do-all!
