  • Amazing

It is just like the computer app. It is easy to type on and easy to save. It is the best typing app I have tried. And it makes it easy to get my school work done while I'm on the city bus.
  • Bugs 🐞🐛

The iPhone app deserves 4 stars, but the iPad version only 2. I use the Word app to edit my Dropbox files while on the go. The iPhone app is great for short and quick edits, and I use the default dictation button in the iPhone keyboard to add larger amounts of text. But the iPad app is buggy: using dictation messes up formatting, and Word often fails to sync my edits to Dropbox.
  • Best Ever!

This app has really been a time saver! I’m able to work on writing/editing projects from my iPhone or iPad when I’m away from my laptop. It automatically saves so all work is updated and ready to when I get back to my desk. I’m loving it!

This app is very easy to use and photo drop/insert makes the journal much more interesting. I love it.
  • Bugs need to be solved

Every time I use this app, I discover new bugs that impede your work flow. If its not the UI not responding to your input, it is letters that you type not appearing in the screen. I have tried to delete and reinstall the app but I get welcomed with the most surprising bugs. It is a great effort to have MS Word on iPad but it will definitely be better to have a stable application.
  • I'm able to edit journal where, whenever.

I don't normally write reviews for apps and I know this seems like a very minor detail, but the ability to edit my journal on the fly is invaluable.
  • My Office in My Hand

    By Shannanicole
How did I survive before Office was mobile? So convenient! It can take a bit to get used to, but it’s very easy to use. Everything I need in the palm of my hand.
  • Needs more features

I love having Word on my iPad. It makes doing homework and writing reports and papers much easier, and better. However... Considering the size of the iPads — at least the Pro models — Word feels very watered down. Why can’t we have ALL of the same features that Word on PC has? The tabs at the top of Word on iPad are extremely basic, and don’t offer much in the way of true, desktop-like word processing. The iPad is plenty big enough to have all of the tabs along with all of the contents of said tabs. I have actually been forced to use Word Online plenty of time, simply because Word Online has those tabs and features college students and professionals really need. Word on iPad is just entirely too watered down, and it is stripped of its complexity and usefulness. Microsoft: Please update Word, and all of the other Office apps for iPad to mirror what we’ve been using on PC for years now. Do that, and I’ll never use Apple’s Pages app again, nor will I use any other word processor.
