I have just started using Afterlight, and, so far, I love it. It is easy to maneuver through the editing features and fun to try the various filters. So far,I am impressed!

disappointed that after paying for this app years ago that they would make it free and sell a new app for the ridiculous price of three dollars. think im going to spend 2.99 on something that ya'll will probably make free in 5 years?? lol catch ya later afterlight. vsco is 10x better anyways and has always been free!!!!!!

Loved the app, but disgusted by the fact that I paid for this and now there's a new one that I would have to pay for again? Job horribly done guys. Definitely not buying the new one because they'll just make you pay for another in a year.

I paid for filter upgrades about the price of the new afterlight 2. And now what I paid for is free to everyone. I feel cheated. They should upgrade loyal customers to afterlight 2 for free.

  • devs kick loyal customers to the curb

Instead of updating the app they’ve just proudly announced is five years old, the devs chose to abandon it for a “new” one that looks, well, exactly like the old one would with an update. Oh, and a 2 at the end of the name so you can tell them apart. And of course a “new” price tag...

I rarely leave reviews but I too am upset to have paid for this app and the developers are now releasing a second one with all the updates that should be on this one. Poorly done guys. Offering these updates as in app purchases would have prompted me to buy if I wanted to but now I’m just so annoyed I’m not even going to look at Afterlight 2 and may just delete this off my phone entirely and use ColorStory even though I prefer I believe this app is more user friendly.
  • Update the app to work on iPhone X

I love using this app but ever since getting the iPhone X it stretches over the end of the screen when editing from within the photos app, as in fixing the original photo as opposed to editing and duplicating the whole freaking photo and creating a monster in my albums. I used to be able to post an edited photo from this app directly to Instagram, now the options overlap my service icons making it impossible for me to press next and post to Instagram. Now this means I am duplicating originals, and then duplicating them again to size them for insta. Seriously? Fix this instead of paying attention to creating a whole new app for this. 🙄 not to mention I paid 5$ for this app and now it’s free? What a way to piss on your original buyers. 🖕🏼

I love the app, but why not make Afterlight 2 free for the customers who’ve already bought the original..
