This is actually not only my favorite meditation app but my favorite app overall. I especially love the daily calm and the sleep stories. I live with anxiety and depression and this is a huge tool in my self care routine and when I go days without it, I can feel the strain. I just wish they would update the free content.
  • First impressions - beware battery drain

    By jmkodc
Even after downloading update on 4/23/18, this app drains my battery more than anything I’ve ever owned. Decent free features so far - I’ve tried the music and stories. But battery issue makes it nearly unusable. Drains roughly half my battery in just 30 minutes or so.
  • Please stop asking me to review every time

    By Happynoteuser
I love this app except something changed recently. The one thing I enjoy most is turning on my white noise before bed and then listening to a sleep story. In the past, when the sleep story was over the white noise would continue. Now, the sleep story waits for a review before resuming white noise. This kind of defeats the purpose of both for bedtime. Please fix this so I can give all 5 stars.

  • Value not there for me

    By Superjac
I am not interested in a subscription model this service. If I was, it would be max $3/month. I would prefer an option to buy and own the meditations that I like. Until that option is offered I am using other apps mostly: pulse, pause and some great offerings Take a Break and Rest & Relax that allow me to purchase the meditation one time. I would even be open to paying for each use of a meditation but my practice habit can not justify the current pricing model.
  • Two reasons

    By Mposey38
    1. I’ve had the app for over 4 months The “Mindfulness Reminder” keeps repeating 2. The money. It’s great but why 60 why should you pay to be happy
  • Amazing App

Thank you for supporting my desire to practice meditation.
  • I’m a fan but the app could use an alarm

    By AngieNoel
I downloaded the app a week ago to use for insomnia it is fantastic. I have never slept better in by life. Well worth the money. However I could only give it 4 stars because my alarm app has not gone off. Not sure if it is because the Calm app to go open all night and is overriding the alarm app? My suggestion is to add and alarm to the app. Otherwise great app.
  • This is worth it!

I struggled with horrible PTSD symptoms for years now. It was difficult to apply mindfulness to my everyday routine until I found this app. It has greatly reduced my physical and mental symptoms by allowing me to become aware, ride the waves and let go of emotion. I’m not going to say it’s a cure because there is no such thing. I view it as a tool to maintain your mental fitness like a treadmill and exercise helps maintain your physical fitness. Gradually over time your mind becomes stronger and more capable but mindfulness like physical exercise should become part of your routine so you can keep optimum mental fitness. Also, I was on medication and no longer require it yet it doesn’t mean anyone should stop taking their medication. I suggest to start doing mindfulness and as you progress there may be a reduction to your prescription and eventually you may be able to come off of them. Hope this is helpful! God bless!
