Each day I can quickly get an update to things that happened. As I scan the titles if I see something that catches my attention, I can open the story to read further. I usually open USA TODAY first to get my day started! However I have notifications turned off in settings and I get a notification that is blank!! Why? Annoying.
  • Deceiving articles

A lot of articles are nothing but videos of paid advertising nothing about the article clicked.

If your ‘columnists’ write a negative article on a subject, call it what it is - “My Opinion”. Both Christine Brennan and Brendan Rogers wrote recent negative Olympic articles under the guise of Columnist that were incredibly negative. Time to clean house if you want to keep readers.

I prefer to read my news. Rarely do I click a video because of commercial preceding. I do enjoy the crossword.

  • Annoying aspects

Used to love this app, but it has developed so many annoying aspects... you have to make it stop (1) auto-playing videos and (2) most annoying of all, having it so that it clicks through on links and ads in articles, even when reader is just scrolling.

The latest update is bad, it keeps crashing. This morning it has crashed 4 times in the last 30 minutes, it just shuts down. It is becoming very frustrating while trying to read the news
  • Slanted and Unreliable

The app works fine, but the content has sunk too unprecedented lows. USA Today was once unbiased, albeit bland, but in a rush to appeal to the far left has abandoned any sense of balance in its reporting. Sad.
  • Performance slipping

While reading an article the page skips around, you loose your place and have to scroll around to find your place. Photos don’t load and don’t swipe like they used to. The mechanics, user interface has gone terribly down hill. USA Today is in bed with Amazon.com. “ News articles” are often just ads for Amazon products. USA needs to get back to old fashioned reporting and improve the mechanics of their web site.

Your sensationalized attacks on the administration are getting worse! Do you realize how foolish you look? You really should take a more measured approach- you’re embarrassing yourself.
