I can no longer edit my ebooks. I have to save a “local copy.” I’ve never been prompted this.

Imagine my excitement. I’m putting PDFs on my iPad. I’m back in college, I’m highlighting and commenting all throughout the app. Then I back out and go back in....AND HALF OF ALL MY HIGHLIGHTS AND COMMENTS ARE GONE. Thanks. All that work gone.

  • Why pay additional fees?

Why pay additional fees if I am a Creative Cloud Subscriber? That is 60 bucks per month I am already forking out as a freelance on a budget. There has to be some break here because mobile workflow is necessary but not all of us can afford a la cart pricing for additional monthly subscriptions for this app and that app to work with that mobile workflow.
  • Apple Software Glitch

When opening the app, at first works fine. However, if you momentarily look at another app, for example attempt to copy and paste a reference from another source and paste into this app, the program will not allow this function. You have to close the app completely and reopen. Same problem happens if attempting to highlight or underline. A warning box appears and says your document is a read only when it isn’t. Very frustrating. Avoid this app until repaired.
  • Auto save

If I update my sheet that I’m working on and exit the sheet it will auto save, but now when I go between apps and put more info on the sheet and exit sheet it doesn’t auto save. Tried reboot of iPad still have problem since this last update a few days ago.
  • Major glitch in the update

Every time I edit a file since the most recent update it tells me 'this is a read-only file' and that I have to create a local copy in order to save changes. Now I'm clogged with (1) (2) (3) (etc,..) local copies MEANWHILE the original file accepts and saves changes after I've wasted the time and space to create a new useless 'local' file [the originals are local to begin with] after EVERY edit I make. • 'Error opening file'

Great app aside from the above. This error happens 2/3 of the time when trying to open Adobe scan pdf files from the document cloud folder. The workaround is to try again, so it takes 2 attempts to open most files. Not sure what the problem is, presumably the file is stored locally on the phone as well, so there shouldn't be any hesitation with this. Please fix, annoying.
