So now we are charged fees for transferring $$ into our bank account? Terrible!!!

Says I could transfer money in 30 minutes. Kid can’t get the $$$ and now I’m out $$$ and have no idea where it went. It’s 1 am and I’m highly aggravated and I’m pretty tech savvy. Thank God it was only $12 but now all of our personal info is out there for people to hack. As soon as we figure this out when she gets back from her trip (which then she won’t even need it) we are deleting the app. Never again. Next time I’ll go to the bank and put money on her card the old fashioned way. Much less frustrating

$235 held up since November because I made a joke. Venmo customer service will not give my money back (it was never transferred to the person I was paying) and no customer service rep is responding to me. I guess someone in Venmo is skimming off the top? Very upsetting.

I love Venmo, I’ve been having a great time with it, I can’t go a day without it. Every day I wake up and praise Jesus for the beautiful gift of Venmo which has been bestowed upon us.
  • Convenient but not secure

Venmo is very convenient and easy to use, but it just isn’t safe. Any app linked to your bank account should have 2 factor authentication. Because of this lack of security, I will never link an account or credit card to this app, I will only ever use my existing balance to pay people back
  • Poor Security Protocols Like Paypal

Poor Security Protocols much like its parent company Paypal. Also the text verification for phone doesn’t go thru. Your bank security is also compromised when you log into your account via the Venmo app. And Venmo can see and report what your account balance is and the type of account. This is basically poorly secured spyware.
