  • Great companion app

    By cbusknit
I’m so happy about the update that now includes the meal plan calendar/planner. Always loved the shopping list, was thrilled to see the recipes added and easy to get to, and now able to pull up the meal plan in the app - thank you! The web and mobile apps save me so much time during the week. I love to cook, but hate meal planning and writing out shopping lists. These apps are so helpful!
  • Best app ever

I signed up on Plan to Eat over a year ago, but I’ve been using it faithfully for about five months now. As a mom of four in her first year of law school, this app saves my hectic life from absolutely imploding. I downloaded the bookmark to my laptop, so now, when I’m on Pinterest looking for recipes, it’s one mouse click and everything I like is automatically in Plan to Eat for Me. But wait, there’s more. The user interface is intuitive, and it’s easy to drag and drop to populate my meal planner for the week. This is also super helpful if I’m trying to eat Keto (for me) and plan regular meals for my kids at the same time. I can add notes to the planner if I plan on eating leftovers for a meal to remind myself what I’d planned without doubling the ingredients in the shopping list. I bookmarked the website on all my children’s devices, so they can log in when they get home from school to see what is planned for dinner and get the meal started with the recipe right in front of them. But the best part is the latest update. Before this update, I could only access the meal planner through the website, which added an unnecessary step to mealtime since I could never remember what I’d planned for a meal from one minute to the next. Now the app has a section where I can view the planner, choose the meal I planned, and go straight to the recipe. It’s everything I want in a meal planning app and worth every penny for the yearly subscription.

  • Just Ok

I’ve been using the PC version for a few years now. This app is nothing like that. I’m hoping you update to include the planner otherwise this is just another shopping list app. 😕
  • So excited for phone app!!!

    By Floor cleaner 2015
I'm THRILLED to be able to use this easily from an app on my phone rather than via browser. In reading the reviews AND the developer responses to them, I see that there are additions to be made to better the app, and I look forward to seeing that happen soon!!!! Love PlanToEat and look forward to future developments!

  • I support this developer

I've been using the website for many years. I have about 600 recipes saved there. This app is a companion to the website. It is the Shopping List only. I have the website saved as on icon on my phone and plan from there. Then use this app at the grocery store. I am waiting and wishing for a full iOS app that mirrors the website.
  • Still in progress, but awesome company

It’s obvious that this doesn’t have everything in it yet, but nevertheless, it is still polished. I’ve been working with this in beta for several months now and see it grow in leaps and bounds. I’ve been with Plan to Eat for several years and it is the best in the marketplace. They’re mobile website works beautifully with everything you need and I’m excited to see that functionality coming to an app. Keep up the excellent development. I look forward to the full feature-set in the app.
  • Waiting for meal planner

    By stargazer1225
Okay, I’m going to give it 4 stars for now...because I love the website and have been using it for years. I am excited to see that you’re finally working on an app and that you say you’re working on the meal planning function in the app. I was excited to see there was finally an app and then disappointed to see there was no actual meal planner. However, if that doesn’t happen, I’ll have to come back and change my rating because PLAN to Eat doesn’t really work with out the ability to PLAN.
