Join the 100,000+ athletes training on Volt. Sign up FREE today and let Volt build your personalized training program. *** Volt isn’t just a fitness app: it’s the world’s first INTELLIGENT TRAINING APP. Free fitness apps can offer random workouts or cookie-cutter programs, but can’t offer you real sport performance results. Volt gives you the chance to train on a unique, elite-level program that’s proven to be effective—just ask the 100,000+ athletes already training on Volt! *** THE INTELLIGENT TRAINING APP Volt is unlike anything you’ve seen before. While most fitness apps simply track what you’ve already done, Volt actually tells you what to do. Using new intelligent technology, Volt’s patent-pending prescriptive training system builds you a one-of-a-kind training program. Each program is calibrated precisely to your sport, strength levels, experience, calendar, position (where applicable), and more, giving you the most scientifically proven training results possible. HOW DOES IT WORK? You tell Volt what you’re training for, and Volt builds you a unique 52-week training program designed by expert strength coaches to help you reach peak performance at just the right time. Each workout is part of a comprehensive blueprint for success, telling you precisely WHAT to do, HOW MUCH to do, and HOW to do it—down to exactly how much weight to lift. THE BEST TRAINING, PERIOD. Based on how long you have to train, your program is expertly periodized (just like the pros!) to vary your volume and intensity, optimizing your performance without overtraining. Best of all? Volt’s intelligent algorithms track and automatically adjust and evolve your training prescription as you go, so you never stop seeing results. SPORT-SPECIFIC TRAINING Armed with the expertise of expert strength coaches across 30+ sports, Volt creates a unique sport-specific training plan, personalized to you. Every workout is optimized for your sport, event, or goal—including many gender- and position-specific programs (like Women’s Basketball Forwards and Men’s Soccer Goalkeepers). From D1 athletes to weekend warriors, Volt has something for everyone. BUILT BY EXPERTS Volt is the official technology partner of the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Every program is based on proven research and designed to be safe and effective for all athletes. Always use appropriate supervision when executing any workouts. INJURY PREVENTION Strength training is one of the most effective forms of injury prevention. Volt’s team of strength coaches analyze the most frequently injured areas in each sport, then create training designed to target at-risk joints and muscles. CURRENT AVAILABLE PROGRAMS (We’re always adding new ones!): All-Around Athlete Alpine Skiing Baseball Basketball Cheer & Dance Combat Sports Cycling Diving Field Hockey Football Golf Half Marathon Ice Cross Ice Hockey Lacrosse Marathon Rowing Rugby Rugby Sevens Running Snowboarding Soccer Softball Swimming Tennis Track & Field Triathlon Ultimate Volleyball Water Polo Wrestling *** The first 7 days of your Volt training will be free. • Great but running into some issues.

    By WorkPodCast
I’m trying this app for a month. It’s been really great. But running into some problems. 1: I can’t view historical of the weight reps I did in previous workouts. This should be given. Example: I didn’t add in a hang strength number so the workout didn’t give me weight to do. I did the exercise and added the weight manually. In the workout this week I can’t see the weight I did?? 2: Along with first problem. Would like to see a full detail of what I did (weights and reps) for every workout. 3: If I manually put in a higher weight for an exercise, the history still shows the weight Volt told me to do. This is most frustrating... Please update these. If I’m going to continue paying for subscription this is basic. What I like: 1: Easy to change workouts. 2: Variety if workouts.

I really love this! I’ve been an athlete my whole life, but have never really had a coach as an adult. I’m a beach vball player and this is making me stronger in all the right ways for vball. Also their customer service is great! When I had an issue I emailed them and they got back to me right away!

After clicking “start workout” and skipping warmup, the screen gets stuck on the “starting workout” with the orange background. If I choose to do a warmup, after clicking the orange “complete warmup” option nothing happens as well... it just brings me back to the warmup options and the only way to proceed is to click skip again.
  • Certainly not the best...

After experimenting with a few different programs within the app, it's clear these workouts are randomized with no clear focus on training days. Take a little extra time to research and build your own program - you'll get better results quicker. Pros: Good explanation of proper form with accompanying photos. Workouts not repetitive. Cons: No focused workouts. Programs seem completely randomized. Results delivered very slowly over 52 weeks (i.e. a year). Overpriced for what it delivers.
