Description

Hudway Go is a simple GPS navigation app for drivers. It keeps it very intuitive and non-distracting, displaying just the outline of the road you’re driving and your next manoeuvre. *** "Hudway is one of the cleverest driving apps we've seen" — CNET "Hudway app is unbelievably cool for one special reason: It actually lets you see your directions and route right on your windshield" — USA Today "Hudway HUD tool will remind you nothing less than a science fiction movie that you watched recently" — crazyengineers.com "HUDWAY turns your windshield into a jet fighter cockpit" — digitaltrends.com *** HUDWAY Go helps you drive safer in fog, rain, heavy snow, in dusk and darkness. Create a route and place your smartphone on the dashboard — you’ll see the route reflected on your windshield. Keep your eyes on the road and know in advance what’s ahead — a straight run, or a ramp-turn. This is especially handy when driving between cities. Features: - Intuitive 3D map, simple navigation - Voice Assistance - Speed limits - Long tap on the map to set the destination - Fuel consumption calculation - Transit points - Search for addresses and POI - Choose alternative routes - Drive offline right after you start - The app will recalculate the route if you leave it - Classic GPS map navigation mode - Head-up display (HUD) mode - Trip info: ETA, speed, distance traveled, directions on the next manoeuvre, and more - Based on OpenStreetMap (OSM) Note: If you face any problems or find any bugs, please email us at support@hudwayapp.com or report the bug right from the app. We appreciate your feedback! Attention! 1. On a clear day, the device screen brightness is typically insufficient to give a decent reflection for HUD mode. In that situation, you can use the app in standard mode with the phone fixed with some mount, OR stay HUD using our HUDWAY Glass accessory (learn more about it at hudwayglass.com). At night, in dusk, or in dull weather the reflection is normally well-discernible. 2. When driving, make sure that your smartphone or tablet is well fixed in some mount or on some sticky pad, and doesn't prevent you from clearly seeing the road. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Note about the auto-renewing premium subscription: — The auto-renewing subscription is available on yearly basis for USD $2.99 — Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase — Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period — Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal — Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase — No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period — Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication. If you want to use HUD during a day-time — there is a special accessory HUDWAY Glass: http://hudwayglass.com Privacy Policy http://hudwayapp.com/privacy Terms of Use http://hudwayapp.com/en/terms/

  • Bad directions

I love the idea of a hud but this app gives horrible directions. It’s completely unreliable so I’ve stopped using it even though I paid for the upgrade so I can hear the directions. I’d like a refund.
  • No easy does not deliver. Not intuitive.

I must be an idiot. I download Huddy go and huddy widgets. Adding address to map is near impossible. Changing address on map is impossible. I have no idea of the the connection between the widgets app and the Go app. Also, I purchased the voice command and the guide to getting to the premium page does not exist. Furthermore I store continues to show error. Of the multiple times I have purchased the voice commands, zero charges reflected. Something is off with the connection and it isn’t on my side. I am throwing away the heads up unit. Unless some one can explain in simplistic language how to navigate through this.
  • Great idea, poor app

A great gps app like Google Maps and Waze are reliable, have free traffic and voice commands but do not currently have an HUD option. Rather than try to recreate these apps I highly recommend you sell your services to them and help them implement HUD on these fine apps.

I installed the Hudway Go premium app with Sound. Upon using it it had many wrong turns and incomplete actions. Example it would say turn right in 200 feet but there was no right turn and the arrow was showing left turn. When using it on a highway in getting off in a city it had me get off incorrect exit and then lost the signal and could not provide new location. I had to switch to Google Maps. Overall it does work most of the time except when you getting into a city situation. What I have been doing is running Hudway Go with no sound and with Waze voice running in the background I would really like my money back on this one, bad choice not reliable.
  • Navigation doesn’t work in a NAV app?

Multiple back and forth with support all they can say is it’s a known issue and the next version should work. Then they said the new version is out and it still doesn’t work. We purchased the huddy phone holder to work with this app worst $25 wasted. Just notified of new version--navigation doesn't work.

This app does not work with my iPad. It can’t calculate my speed, MPG, and other things. The compass, tilt/roll widgets are the only things That seem to be working. However, on my iphone everything works well. But I prefer to use my iPad as a infotainment hub, because it’s bigger and sits perfectly inside my dashboard. I don’t know if I’m missing something or their are bugs with the iPad version? Either way, I would like some assistance with this. Thanks!
  • Not useful.

I added this app when I bought the device for three of my family members for Christmas. I liked the concept and I really wanted it to work. When I was approaching my destination, it started “searching” and was totally useless. I have used WAZE s for free and will return to using it! I wish I had never watched the ad or purchased the devices. Total waste.

This does not show a map as advertised. According to support will only display correctly if a destination address is entered. I have tried for 2 weeks to get device to work as shown in their videos with no success and no real help/solution from support. Would not recommend.
  • Not usable

The concept is good but the app is not usable as it doesn’t give you street names. It should give you the information Google Maps provides. Also voice should be free. The Huddyway device you use it on is very distracting during driving because it reflects off the windshield. I’m about to throw it in the trash.

Paid for the app thinking it will be useful. Some points that make it useless for me as a completely new driver. Doesn’t specify lanes. Takes a good 45 seconds to a minute when rerouting
