  • Sweet, fun, and interesting.

Really love the design and story. Time Crystals cost real money, but the prices are decent. If you're patient, you won't run out of them so quickly and you'll be able to enjoy the story without spending too much money. I'm excited to see what comes next. Hope there are more games like this in the future.
  • I love this game.

I haven’t been this engaged in a story for a looong time. Ash is such an endearing and incredible protagonist and I just love everyone. There’s so many questions and so many answers to find, and I highly recommend getting this if you’re looking for a good story!! Sure, the narration is a little awkward at times, but I promise you the plot is engaging and the characters feel *real*. It may take a while to get into, but when you do, you’re in DEEP.
  • Great Game

    By smiley music girl 123
The story and characters are complex, the music is great, and the developers have done a fantastic job making the app accessible with Voiceover! They really went above and beyond! Sometimes I get frustrated having to wait to play while Ash is busy, but other than that, I have no complaints.
  • Pay if you want to, wait if you don’t!

This is a great text game, withgood story and writing plus a excellently designs interface!
  • Good, but time gap is a bit excessive

    By realrainmaker
I understand the mechanism behind needing to earn income for a freely offered game, but the time delay if you choose not to spend money is a bit excessive. I don’t mind an hour or two, but nearly eights hours encourages me to consider deletion of the app. It’s otherwise an entertaining game. I would consider a model more like pay once own forever in a series of stories, but for the time gap number of crystals required to skip, I can’t vouch for a rating higher than 3 stars at the moment. The story line is somewhat predictable, but again, it is entertaining enough.
  • Captivating

I am in LOVE with this app. Everything about it is beautiful and just so incredible!!! I can not wait for the third installment so I can find all the possibilities that lie in Ash’s future! Seriously an incredible app and by far the most immersive choose your own adventure-esque novel that I’ve found. I do have one small complaint- the death of a major character was spoiled for me by the Timecrest Merchant in one of his little blurbs (I love reading those). And sometimes the text will glitch and a previous excerpt with overlay the current one- which can be fixed by closing the app and opening it back up. Other than that this game is absolutely amazing and I’ve been telling all my friends about it.
  • Ash is crawling...

    By ZRATEZ570
So I’m already annoyed that the time it takes ash to do stuff is so long but know he’s after a emerald dragon rider, and since the guy kicked him, he has to crawl, and it takes 20 mins, but then it’s over and he’s talking again, but then he decides to keep crawling and it makes me wait ANOTHER 20 MINUTES!!!!!! Then, Surprise, it’s over literally two sentences are spoken then another 15 minutes!!!!!! So other than the ridiculous wait times, I LOVE THIS GAME!
  • Honestly my favorite mobile game

    By Azucai
On several occasions while playing through this game, I had wondered to myself (and to others) how it could be *this* good and be free, and with no ads at that! The story? Captivating. Everything is never as it first seems, and there’s a lot of mysteries to uncover and a whole world to explore. A story is effective when it makes you feel fully, and this game has made me feel a range of genuine emotions. Plus the writing is beautiful, especially in the oracles. The characters each have their own distinct personalities and personal histories, and you will get attached. There are so many plot branches and the choices you make can significantly impact the story. I’m on my third playthrough and it’s *still* fun, since I’m still discovering new information and bonus stories with each replay. Other reviews have criticized the length of waiting times or the cost of time crystals. Personally, I feel that the game is already generous with their cost of time crystals. For those not willing to spend, the game allows you to earn crystals in-game via irillium or weekly via twitter. As far as wait times go, it’s not a game meant to be played through in one sitting. My tip is to save your crystals for when you might need extra gold so you don’t have to wait a full day or two to collect enough gold via daily guild payments.
  • Good but could be better

    By ashalincia
There are some mistakes like in chapter 8 ash says “but Morty sure made feel less homesick when I first joined Timecrest”
  • Game that is taking up a lot of my time

This is a choose your own adventure type game. Totally voiceover accessible. Lots of fun. :-)
